A Spartanburg police vehicle was involved in a collision Tuesday within city limits.

The collision happened around 7 p.m. on Drayton Road, near Old Charlotte Road.

The condition of the officer nor the other driver is unknown as of writing.

A FOX Carolina crew notes that the police vehicle sustained damage to the front end, crunching in part of the hood.

The other car involved, which appears to be an older model Honda CR-V, sustained damage to the rear end.

We have reached out to Spartanburg police for a statement.
